All to Protect
Her arms were crossed,
her face, grim.
she hardly smiled
words out of her mouth were few
she wasn't interested.
she was cold and hard to approach.
but she was nice.
i had lab today.
it was grp work with 4 other guys.
i had to do that. to protect myself.
interesting eh?
no, i find tt i'm not preventing my "inner beauty" and all those la-di-da from "coming out?!"
but i had to do tt.
in a room full of non christian guys (5 plus teacher),
i had to do tt.
i had to protect my heart.
dont you think it'll be dangerous if i look all vunerable and friendly to them?
but then again, i said i'm nice.
he was friendly, he helped me
so i helped him too.
we didnt say anything
apart from "thank you" out of her mouth
no, i'm not interested in him and neither was he....
are you crazy, i deal with so many guys everyday
but yeah...
