The Big Picture
my pastor's really cute.the ang moh one.
she describes stuff with words like "Electric!"
it's funny cos she doesn't look like the kind of person that will say this kind of stuff.
Her name's Shirley.
anyway,
i just remembered her sharing this really cute story that she made up herself.
there was this guy that was stranded on an island as a kid, separated from his parents.
(sad but who cares, this is fictional)
he made a hut for himself with leaves and stuff ( zero for creativity )
but, the only thing this island had was potato and leek.
so,
he made potato and leek soup and he liked it!
made P&L pasta, P&L pastry, P&L curry, P&L fried rice.... (i obviously modified the story)
in all, all he he made was P&L stuff.
years passed,
the boy's father sent someone to look for the boy.
found the boy, boy rescued. all the la-di-da rubbish.
but when he was introduced to all the FANTABULOUS, various types of food,
he didn't want to even try them.
all he wanted was P&L!
sleeping beauty's mattress presented to him.
but all he wanted was his leaves.
are you like him?
are you satisfied with what you have?

i very often sit back against my chair after doing an incredibly hard math qns
and think.

i wont deny it's hard to believe that God truly has "a mansion next to his".

today, i was just telling him:
" eh God, knock me down leh (by a car)
[btw, i got a policy that if I'm going to get knocked down by a car, must be luxury car. hehe]
so that i can quickly go to heaven. earth very sian leh
temporary only.
heh.
(got so much math hw some more) :x
then he was like: "hello. i sent you here for what?!"
