Woh...it has been a long and busy week. the weather here is getting colder. putting layers of lotion. at least, I don’t really have to turn on the aircon anymore. food here has just been crappy; spore noodles, they apparently have it here but i got no idea what it is; nv heard or tasted in my life. it's jus some weird dish where they dump all the ingredients with bee hoon and call it spore noodles. don’t dare to try man....looks disgusting. basically, I don’t eat much Chinese food here cos they're mostly hongkong style or they taste so diff from spore's. eating a lot of Italian though. at least, it tastes better. me cooking? you got to be kidding. my fd are edible not presentable. yup, tt's the term to call my fd. hahaha

ok..abt sch: classes are quite big but at least in the more impt ones like phy, chem and math they are smaller. but compared to jc, the size is a tinny Winnie smaller. the system here is like in uni. also, they teach stuff tt are a lil harder than jc too cos everything is a mess now; some ppl from diff countries learnt diff stuff. some learnt this and some didn’t. poor msians, they had no idea what the math teacher was talking abt. she was teaching something tt was taught to us, sporeans quite long ago but they had no idea what she was babbling abt. so sad right?

i don’t know why but I’m suddenly interested in physiotherapy but it requires chem which i totally suck at and i requires very high marks overall. hence, i decided to try taking chem for the first term. keep me in yr prayer ok? cos i really hope i can persevere here. classes are super long; till 5pm everyday! my white hair is back and so are the pimples. so crappy. stress ah..........

ok...the subjects tt i have to take are history of ideas(hoi), eng for academic purpose(eap), lit, drama. the electives tt i chose are phy, chem and 2math. hoi is to help us the have an analytical mind. tt's what they say. it's useful for us lar but so far i still think it's a totally waste of time. we are suppose to discuss stuff. the first lesson, the tchr talked abt Judeo-Christian tradition. next lesson is democracy & the Greeks: how shld society be organised? i'm like ???

eng is just to teach us the kind of eng to use like the kind of words to use when writing an essay, note taking... i know it's good for us but the tchr is very boring lar.

and surprisingly, i'm enjoying lit which is very surprising cos in spore i hated lit. well...hopefully, i can do well in it.

chem is the most boring sub. my friend can fall aslp aft the tchr talks for 5min. and even if you pay attention, you wont get what she's talking abt. tt's where tutes(tutorials for those who don’t know) come abt. the tute tchr told us tt she tried reading the notes too but spent 1.5hrs reading it and she still doesn’t understand. but she says tt we cnt blame our lecturer cos she's a lecturer! suppose to give us 'more detail'. tt's what she said. aft tt, she spent 10min explaining everything tt the lecturer talked abt the past few lessons and WE ALL GOT IT! thank god for tutorials if not I’ll jus be blur the whole way thru.

drama is super fun!!! i'm totally enjoying it. we had to pose diff senerios abt certain themes given to us. like a photo slideshow. definitely the most fun sub here.

the rest of the subs are ok. at least i understand what the lecturers are talking abt. so, shld be fine.

was talking to es thru email. I DIDN’T HIGHLIGHT MY HAIR! you guys must be gossiping abt me back there. i so know it. you guys are all also asking me this qns if there are any handsome guys here. THERE ARE NO HANDSOME GUYS HERE!!! so sad right. hhahahaah...just joking lah.. there ARE guys here but not many handsome ones though. apparently, vfc melb has a girl deficiency but the guys cannot make it lah. seriously, the guys both in sch and church jus cnt make it. shhhh...they better not read this man. if not, i'll be so dead.

Anw, my personal walk with God has been improving, esp. when i'm alone. i finally have the time to sit and just have a chat with God and thank him for all the miracles tt he has been showering me with. i shall not go in detail cos, it's just so many! net is good; i didn’t like it initially cos it was very diff from net back home but aft the 2nd net, i really liked it now. cos, net is kind of more serious here but it really helps to improve my Christian walk in God. being in a net with older and more mature ppl also helps. haha...ok. i think it's mainly becos i'm alone with God more often now so i find tt my walk with God has been improving lots. but they don’t have youth svc which really makes it hard for me to connect to God cos i usually do tt during the edge:(

also, i mentioned tt there was going to be a fair tt will showcase all the clubs, right? anw, IT'S WAS A COMPLETE FLOP! i was so disappointed. they didn’t even showcase any sports stuff. i got no idea why. some eg of what they showed were the cooking club, the green team, singing, music, student yearbk committee. this kind of clubs, you think i'll join? waste my time only lor. then i checked it out in the internet what sports they have; they don’t really have many impressive sports. the only thing which i was interested in was rowing and hockey which is still not what i have in mind. i know i'll be bored of it sooner or later. so, i checked out the uni clubs, they have sailing and mountaineering! i'll be going to see whether i can join a nt. pray for me k? i really hope they'll allow me to join. it'll be life changing!!! but i'll be a very busy person then.
