Just came back from the planet shakers net grp. they call the "urban life". it actually super big lah....roughly 30ppl in the net which i thought wasn't very good cos it's just like norm svc and to be honest; i wasn't listening at all. there was just too many ppl. i definitely recommend ppl to go there as a short term thing but not for long term cos it doesn't do much good to yr spiritual life; you'll just end up like me not listening at all.
i went there with a huge grp of mgs/16yrs/spore/trinity/Palmerston (Palmerston is a hostel where a lotlotlot of sporeans stay). i must say tt I'm very grateful tt i met them cos it's always good to have fellow Christians ard you in sch. they are actually very diff from the ones tt i met in the excursions. they're just so much more 'decent'. tt's the word i'll use. i'll prob church hop with them sometimes to planet shakers and to life expedition. life expedition is like right below my hse. i just need to take the lift to the basement. soooo convenient but i still haven't gone there yet. i'll prob just go with them if they're coming.
it's actually very funny the way i met one of them which led to me knowing all of them. i walked into the lecture theatre early one day, saw this girl, sat next to her and just started talking to her and introducing myself. i still gt no idea why i did tt. so cool lah.
anw, i know i haven't been blogging for quite a while so I'll just pour out what i did the past week.

we went to watch norbit tt night with nono and nat's husband/youth pastor, peter. norbit was ok, just tt it wasn't as nice as you'll expect it to be.
Entertaining ourselves while waiting for food to come before net.

we went to the mooba festival on a sat. it was just a carnival with rides, games where you just throw away yr money. (i threw any $5, so i know. my sch friends who went there separately threw $150 away and both of us didn't get any prizes)
me eating my first 'Dagwood dog'. so unglam. tsktsktsk
there was firework at the mooba fest and IT WAS OUT OF THE WORLD!!! it was just sooooo nice cos we were like sitting 10m away from the pt where they let off the fireworks and everything was sooo close. the feeling is just totally diff from looking from far. the view and the mood is very diff. there was like ash and paper dropping on us. and we went sitting on the edge of a curve too, so we cld see the other fireworks being set off from the middle of the river. too bad i don't have any photos of them:(
ok...next is dinner at the Afghan Gallery with ven and CarissaSo cool right?
the fd was good too. we were like comparing all the fd to spore fd.

there are just so many diff food,places to go to, weird things to eat. it just so interesting to try all sort of foods from diff cultures. i basically just tried all the stuff tt is presented to me. hae yet to try croc and kango meat though. tt'll be interesting
