yes! finally my Internet is working properly and finally gt time to blog.
I'm glad my farewell was a happy one. thank you all for coming. it's really funny seeing everyone squishing to the glass at the dep gate. felt like a celeb like rain. with all the screaming fans. i felt really gd to know tt i gt so many friends tt care. so...thank you again. was so touched. so many ppl came. do you know tt everyone took up half the dep hall. shld have taken a pic. regretting it like crazy now. it was really a great sight. oh well... too bad.
yar...everyone is like asking: so how's things?
so here goes: every thing's fine. gt a bit of shock initially cos my rm was empty (apart from the bed and stuff lah) so we didn't where to go. so tt's where Janice came in. thank god i gt her no. sent a SOS to her and she was really nice, helping me ard. brought me and my mum to church where we met my net. have to wait till my cam is sent over than i can take pic. my net ppl are really nice. feels like i know them for quite a while already but it's just one week! they gt all kinds of funny things. apparently, they call themselves the mushroom club. and they got a dance! have yet to see it. i think I'll end up peeing in my pants from laughing too much. they gt nick names too. tell you when i take a pic. we did a not of lame stuff while hanging out. they came to help me move my stuff cos my room wasn't ready initially. there was so many things tt we end up using those supermarket trolleys tt was found in the lift lobby. it was just madness. cos we were super embarrassed and we were like: hurry hurry. cos we didn't want anyone to see us. doesn't sound very crazy here but it certainly was then.
and just yesterday we went to catch a movie: music and lyrics. very funny movie. but the crazy part was tt before tt we went to the arcade and started playing all the lame games like the one where you have ot hit the stupid crocs as fast as you can. naturally we gt a lot of pts with 6 hands. and the the one where you have to throw the basketball in the hoop. it was really but hilarious cos it was like seeing grown up ppl being so amused by such kiddy stuff. but certainly had a great time with them.
oh! and the church is super super small. it's like smaller than our region youth. it was another shock. it's was just, soooooo small.
here are the pros: everyone is very close to each other.
cons: cannot yawn during the svc. the pastor is like right in front of you.
oh! and the church is so small, prayer meeting is in the pastor's hse. tt's how small.
meet pam and aud's cousin too but by the time, shock to much alrdy. didnt feel any shock seeing him.
sch is ok. a lot of hong Kong ppl and msians. keep speaking in canto. so irritating. kick me out of the conversation. practically the whole grp tt i was in yesterday speaks canto. forced to learn the language now. idiot. just feels so shitty.
the buildings are really old ( for the old ones). it's like in the movies where there are portraits of dead ppl in the room, the chairs are wooden and it seems like it's going to break any moment. the room smells weird. tables are wooden too. everything there is like super old. but the newer buildings are like norm buildings. but the whole uni is like super big so have to walk aaaaaaa lot. with the hot weather these few days just make things worse. it's hotter here than in spore. cos it's so drier and the heat is piercing hot. too lazy to take tram cos it's so ex and i still have yet to figure out the stupid machine. also because gt bad exp lah....
story: me and my mum decided to take the tram back cos we bought a lot of stuff. went up the tram. see the machine. dunno wad they talking. ask driver. driver dunno wad i talking. me explain. he still dunno. me explain explain explain. he understand. my stop reach already. he say nvm, dont need to pay.
conclu: it was the part tt i ask driver and he dunno wad i talking and me explaining tt was the embarrassing part cos everyone in the tram was staring at us and we so totally look like idiots. so, too troublesome, rather walk.
